Turin, May 16, 2025 – The National Automobile Museum (MAUTO) is dedicating a special tribute to Pininfarina to mark the 95th anniversary of the historic Italian design house, a global symbol of elegance, innovation, and timeless beauty. From May 17 to 23, MAUTO will host a temporary Pininfarina exhibition, an extraordinary journey through six iconic models that embody the brand’s stylistic and engineering evolution.

The exhibition, held in the museum’s main hall, tells the story of the brand’s constant balance between tradition and innovation — the very heart of Pininfarina’s design philosophy. The featured masterpieces include:

  • Honda HP-X (1984) – an aerodynamic manifesto born from collaboration with Honda
  • Sintesi (2008) – a visionary concept for future mobility
  • 2uettottanta (2010) – a modern take on the classic Italian roadster
  • Sergio (2013) – a barchetta sculpted on Ferrari mechanics, in homage to Sergio Pininfarina
  • Morgan Midsummer (2024) – a bespoke roadster making its official Italian debut
  • Automobili Pininfarina Battista (2025) – an electric hypercar in a special anniversary edition

The week will culminate on May 22 with the institutional event “From Legend to Future – 95 Years of Pininfarina”, a major celebration featuring prominent guests from the worlds of industry, culture, and creativity, including Stefano Buono (newcleo), Gurcan Karakas (TOGG), Jesse Chao (Hon Hai Technology Group – Foxconn), and Jay Ward (Pixar Animations – Disney). Moderated by Maria Latella, the event will explore the future of design as a cross-disciplinary culture of innovation and sustainable vision.

The evening will also feature the exclusive preview of:

  • the commemorative book “Pininfarina 95 – Timeless Beauty” (Giorgio Nada Editore), authored by Luca Dal Monte – a narrative of words and images tracing the brand’s history and future outlook.
